The primary responsibility of the Returns Desk Associate is to provide a control point for all customer returned product, including Will Call and Shuttle Returns. This position requires the associate to maintain the quality and integrity of the inventory by physically inspecting all customer returned product in order to accept or reject product based upon company policy. Assigns appropriate credit codes, which can affect inventory balances, and will affect general ledger accounting. These codes will be assigned according to company policy. This position also requires the associate to maintain integrity of the warehouse physical inventory through physical counts and the ability to research inventory transactions utilizing inventory systems. Associate must enter and correct adjustments as needed to support accurate financial reporting.
