    Responsibilities


    • Focus on positioning our company as an employer of choice



    • Work closely with hiring managers to recruit qualified applicants



    • Ensuring OFCCP and Affirmative Action compliance in all phases of recruiting



    • Conducts pre-employment assessments, screenings (background checks, MVR’s, references, drug screening, E-verify, etc)



    • Conduct New Hire orientations and on-boarding of new associates



    • Counsel and participate with managers and supervisors regarding associate relations practices, policies, and laws necessary to establish a positive employer-associate relationship



    • Remain current on federal and state labor laws, ensuring organizational compliance



    • Coordinate FMLA, Short Term Disability, Worker’s Comp, Unemployment Claims, EEOC, and ADA benefits



    • Manage weekly payroll processing and inquiries



    • Maintain employee files in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines



    • Act as a liaison between corporate HR office and associates



    • Perform various workforce analysis projects



    • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management team regarding separation issues



    • Perform other duties as requested by management

    Qualifications


    • Four-year college degree with desired emphasis in human resources or equivalent preferred

    • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred

    • Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources related experience required

    • Knowledge of Kronos, Ulti-Pro and iCIMS preferred

    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines

    • Possess strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

    • Detail oriented, organized and accurate in all independent work

    • Proficiency with Word and Excel and the ability to quickly learn new software

    • Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive information

    • Ability to pass a background investigation and drug test

    • Willing to travel occasionally if needed
