Repair and maintain building and equipment at the Kent Facility.
We do drug tests and background investigations
Monitor and maintain the safe operation of all warehouse and office equipment, such as: warehouse dock doors, dock levelers, HVAC, lighting and warehouse racking. Work on various remodeling projects.
Assist other Facilities mechanics as needed for various maintenance projects.
Various remodeling projects, including sheet rock, painting, framing. Carpenter skill set is a plus.
Monitor electrical equipment through warehouse and office work spaces. Repair or replace electrical equipment as needed for normal and safe operation.
Monitor and maintain the safe and normal operation of the facilities fire and sprinkler system with assistance from outside service vendors.
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned including welding and fabricating projects
HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
Building Operators Certificate preferred.
Qualified individual will present well-rounded skills in maintenance, welding, electrical, plumbing and woodworking.
Three to five years industrial experience preferred.
Ability to operate power tools, use hand tools and drive forklift is required
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a background investigation and drug test.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. at times.
80% of time on feet.
Provide own hand tools.
Hazards are numerous, including: noise, dust, oil, slippery surfaces. Exposure to moving equipment/machinery, hazardous chemicals and products. May work inside and outside and be exposed to temperature extremes of -10f. to 80f., work under deadlines and pressures
