    Join Our Team - FSA

    The Supplier Information Supervisor role primarily provides support and leadership for a cross-functional team of associates at our corporate and branch locations. The associates are comprised from the Category Management, Sales, and Procurement departments. The focus of this position is to promote product attribute compliancy and implement GDSN (Global Data Synchronization Network) standards, our processes and systems in various platforms to insure supplier data is available for consumption in other systems.

    This role will supervise a team for data analysis, auditing, product/brand identification, vendor contact activities, item matching, GDSN, and corporate-to-branch communication on Supplier information issues. The SI Supervisor will lead the GDSN team in various projects and develop best practices.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop, analyze and review key performance indicators at the individual, team and department levels.
    • Represent FSA on GS1 product information standards and participate on calls
    • Coordinate and execute supplier onboarding campaigns for GDSN adoption with FSEnet
    • Perform category research and data analysis to align data standards
    • Gather, prepare, and audit vendor sourced information including images, and ingredient & marketing item attributes
    • Develop department workflows and procedures
    • Communicate and train stakeholders on best practices
    • Assist the Sr. Suppler Information Manager and Director on projects

    Qualifications

    • GS1 Standards experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree Required
    • 3-5 years supervisory experience
    • 3-5 years business foodservice experience preferred
    • Familiarity with the GDSN highly preferred but not required
    • Project Management preferred but not required
    • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Access, Outlook, and SharePoint)
    • Excel Tables, Pivot Tables, Formulas (index, offset, lookup, match, substitute, find, for example.)
    • Ability to pass a background investigation and drug test
