    Work Hours: As required; minimum 40 hours per week

    Position reports to: Senior Regional Manager

     

    Job Description:

    • This position is located in Central Oreon, Hood River and The Gorge, Supports the Vice President of Sales and OU Senior Staff in meeting and exceeding Enterprise, OU and Regional goals. Utilize assigned assets and resources effectively and efficiently. Supports growth and development of Territory Sales Managers, Business Development Managers and Sales Associates assigned to the Region.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the VP of Sales in the execution of region goals. Ensures that the region assigned is performing consistently at a pace that meets or exceeds senior management expectations; make corrections to improve any negative variances. Particular emphasis on the following areas

      • Sales Growth
      • Case Growth
      • Gross profit Dollars and % Growth
      • New Account Growth
      • Unique Line Item Growth
      • Customer Line Item Growth
      • Right Case Focus; Rebate Growth
      • Manage Receivables To Branch Expectations
      • Support Overarching Branch EVA Goals
      • Business Solutions Support; In-Field Business Reviews
      • Coordinate Region Touches; including blitzes
      • Demonstrate Leadership or Followership, as required by situation
      • Stay present in the field, with Associates and Customers
    • Territory Sales Manager Growth
      • Hire, Groom and Support TSM
      • Set and monitor goals for TSM in line with overall region goals

     

    • Sales Associate Development including Hiring/Discipline
      • Duties include Hiring, Reward, Discipline, Promotion and Termination of SAs assigned
      • Responsible for all aspects of SA Training
      • Manage Tracking Reports to Optimize Employment of SAs in the field

     

    • Manages all approval processes that relate to district needs
      • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned

     

    Qualifications

    • Proven Leadership abilities.
    • Must be willing to relocate to region if necessary.
    • On-the-job experience - successful sales and management track record.
    • Excellent communication skills; Ability to communicate with all levels of associates and customers.
    • Demonstrated competence in computer skills; fluent in basic business tools including Microsoft Office
    • Excellent cognitive and financial skills
    • High school and 2 to 4 years college or equivalent experience required.
    • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and required insurance.
