    A successful candidate will have passion and desire to support design and development efforts that solve business problems.  This person is highly motivated and works well without supervision while also working well as a member of the team.  This position reports to the Application Development Manager of Customer Solutions in the IT organization.


    Solution Involvement:

    • Continually looks to measure effectiveness of solution design related to users’ ability to easily adopt
      • Focus on usability testing as appropriate with standard approach to collecting and recording feedback
      • Works to ensure consistent look and feel between applications
    • Identifies system documentation needs and creates high level “how to” documents as well as detailed requirements and Use Cases
    • Interacts with Business Analysts and Product Owners regarding existing projects to help close gaps discovered during development
    • Effectively translates requirements and the needs of the Business Users into a visual representation by creating mockups and prototypes
    • Communicates effectively between Business Users, Developers, and Management
    • Heavy focus on testing solutions in early alpha and beta stages to ensure they meet standards and provide a straight forward and easy to use user experience
    • Provides user experience guidance and leadership related to business tools based on the perspective of business users


    General Qualifications:

    • Possesses well developed skills in design, development, documentation, debugging and support of the user interface to have the best possible user experience.
    • Articulates, develops models and end user experience including the visual design of applications, to make user interaction simple, efficient and consistent.
    • Assesses and optimizes the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in usability testing & user research, and interpreting analytics data.
    • Demonstrated expertise in a single technology/platform and broad knowledge of multiple technologies/platforms
    • Strong knowledge about relevant industry solutions and developments for technology within the scope of the portfolio
    • Strong presentation/verbal communications skills
    • Proven ability to drive results with emphasis on reducing cycle time and increasing speed to market of new products
    • Must have ability to actively contribute to the exchange of ideas
    • Exceptional organizational skills required
    • Ability pass a background investigation and drug test
