Overview

Manage large bid or contracted key Street Sales Accounts. This includes Multi Unit Accounts, Ski Resorts, Casino’s and or bid accounts that report to the Street Sales Regional Manager, Manage to contract compliance of and key performance indicators (KPI’S)

Territory will be HWY 26 to Mount Hood to Government Camp to Hood River.

Responsibilities

  • Manage key contracted business that resides in a Street Region. Multi-unit or large volume contracted business. 
  • Have strong Communication and Organizational Skills. 
  • Budget for growth in existing accounts, and responsible for New Account Opportunities with key accounts, existing Multi-unit build outs, and potential prospects.
  • Manage expense and credit requests to protect FSA profit values. 
  • Schedule regular call days to see all accounts weekly and consistently. This includes ‘Work-With days with Brokers, Manufacturers, FSA Sales Specialists, Territory Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers. Assist customers with ‘On-Line Ordering systems’, product needs, account collections, delivery requirements, and contract pricing and compliance. 
  • Attend all Regional and Company Sales Meetings, and Training Sessions. 
  • Ability to build and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with each key customer. 
  • Manage and maintain all special bids for accuracy and contract compliance. 
  • Manage all proprietary product inventories to contract requirements. 
  • Manage account accruals if available by account. 
  • Review weekly all item bid allowances and contract pricing. 
  • Schedule and attend Business Solution Meetings with FSA’s Business Solutions Managers to give updated marketing information, new ideas, product development, staff training sessions, menu planning, and shared business practices. 
  • Review inventory levels on key items and communicate directly with procurement team on changes. 
  • Use CRM notes, reports, tracking systems, and an overall knowledge of daily CRM functions. 
  • Present knowledge and experience using Sales Guidance in CRM designed by and for FSA. 
  • Train to, and work with customers on company software suite of services available. 
  • Build Personal Guides for customers to use in FSA Connect. Ability to design ‘sheet to shelf’ order guides within this system. 
  • Understand Profit/Loss systems, and ability to adapt and integrate those skills with our customer base. 
  • Have strong product knowledge of all key categories FSA sells. 
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

EQUIPMENT USED: Computer (LAPTOP), Telephone, Automobile, 10-Key

 

MATERIALS USED: Computer reports, CRM , Excel, Word, Outlook, FSA Connect, Star Solutions

 

WORKING CONDITIONS: Hazards (physical demands), Stress (mental demands): Level of demand to meet company goals, Long periods of driving

 

PHYSICAL ABILITIES AND SKILLS: 50% of time on feet, Must be able to carry up to 20 pounds

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Special Knowledge - Sales, management or supervisory skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills - Good oral and written communication skills, ability to work with all levels of associates and customers, ability to organize and prioritize workload, good problem solving skills, ability to motivate others, good negotiation and presentation skills. 
  • Minimum requirement of a high school diploma, bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred 
  • Formal education: 4-year degree business administration/Sales/Marketing or Equivalent experience 
  • On-the-Job Experience - 3 years Sales or District Sales Manager experience 
  • Special Knowledge - Sales, management or supervisory skills. 
  • Interpersonal Skills - Good oral and written communication skills, ability to work with all levels of associates and customers, ability to organize and prioritize workload, good problem solving skills, ability to motivate others, good negotiation and presentation skills. 
  • Safe driving record, valid driver’s license and dependable transportation with valid insurance. 
  • Ability to pass background investigation and drug test.
